Age/Gender: Children Entering Grades K - 6, Leadership Program: Children entering grades 7-10
Days and Times: Monday - Friday 9AM - 3PM with Half Day Options Available. Contact bpeace@jumpstartsports.com for half day.
- Before Care from 7:30 - 9 a.m. and After Care from 3 - 6 p.m.
Rates:
- Any One Week: $164 Resident/ $178 Non-Resident
- All 7 Weeks: $144 Per Week Resident/$158 Per Week Non-Resident
- Before Care: $19 per week
- After Care: $38 per week
Camp Course Descriptions:
June 14 - June 18 - Ready, Set, Go Camp: Campers kick off the summer with loads of fun and a lot of learning! Each day, campers will focus on a different sport and will learn about Jump Start Sports Core Values, Respect, Integrity, Hard Work Ethic, Team Work, and Charity. A wide variety of sports and camp games will be offered to help teach these values in a fun and active environment.
June 21 - June 25 - Ultimate Warrior Camp: We have added some awesome new obstacles from American Ninja Warrior to make our Ultimate Warrior Camp even more challenging and more fun! The fun events are specifically designed to challenge, inspire, and excite. Team challenges include obstacle courses, relays, tug-of-war, and many other fun activities designed to teach cooperation and teamwork while also developing self-esteem. Well also play a wide variety of traditional sports and camp games every day.
June 28 - July 2: All American Sports Camp: Celebrate our nations birthday by learning about truly American games, including Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Basketball and more! We will also have a cool patriotic crafts project. On July 2, we will invite campers to wear their most patriotic outfit and will march in a mini-Independence Day Parade!
July 6 - July 9: Chapel Hills Amazing Race Survivor Camp: Campers will be divided into Tribes and compete in fun team Survivor type challenges and races every day. Hidden idols, secret advantages, race ending puzzles will all be a part of the fun! We�??�?�¢??ll have Tribal Council every day, but instead of voting anyone out, campers will vote on the Survivor of the Day, rewarding one camper from each team for his or her strong effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We will also have an Amazing Race with cool sports challenges at each stop!
July 12 - July 16: College Days Sports Camp: Children will enroll in the college of their choice and have a blast learning about and playing a wide variety of college sports including: football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and volleyball!
July 12 - July 16: Chapel Hill Cheerleading Camp: Cheerleaders will learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We will also play fun cheerleading games and Learn one or two cheer dances. Cheerleaders will decorate uniforms to wear and pom-poms to use at an exhibition on the last day of camp! Campers may choose between College Days and Cheerleading Camp each day.
July 19 - July 23: NCAA Champion Lacrosse Camp: Campers have a blast learning how to play the nations fastest growing sport. Players will be taught cradling and stick work, passing and catching, fielding ground balls, spacing/positioning, and defense. Each day, we will play games, culminating in our NCAA Tournament
July 26th - July 30th - Olympics Camp: We will end the year with a favorite for many campers! Children are grouped by age and divided into countries to learn about and compete in Track & Field and other Olympic sports! The Olympic spirit and true sportsmanship are emphasized throughout the week. Campers also learn about the culture and history of their adopted country and make a flag to carry during the "Closing Ceremonies" and "Presentation of Medals" (parents are welcome to attend).
